- Merely o.k., BEWARE of delicate rubber casing that tears
This is product is merely decent, the ruggedized portions of the slipcase protect the phone well, and the holster holds the Evo securely, but the problem is that the rubber casing, especially around the headphone jack, rips very easily. I had this holster for 2 days, and about the 3rd time gently lifting up the rubber headphone jack flap on the top, it tore. So now the top left portion of the slipcase is tearing away. What a shame, because otherwise this is a good case. This design could be improved by strenghtening the top of the slipcase or just using heavier duty rubber. By using weak and thin rubber on the top where the holster clip and headphone jack are is a big mistake. Even if this doesn't happen to you in 2 days like with mine, over time holstering/unholstering and plugging/unplugging a headphone or other 3.5" audio out device will cause the same damage I'm sure. As expensive as this case is, I expected better. - Does this fit the with the extended battery (3500 Seido)

I got the rugged seido shortly after its release and spent the first few weeks getting used to the added bulk. The Evo is protected, sufficient that I wouldn't bat an eyelash if the phone fell of a desk to the floor. Now, this ruggedness comes with a price...
I mentioned the bulk. The Evo is large to begin with, and adding the girth of three layers of seido (innerliner, rugged exterior and finally, the holster), it becomes a monster. People will notice that there is not svelte iphone or bberry making your belt droop.
The rubber part of the rugged exterior (which, actually is two individual pieces: first a thick, comfortable rubber sleeve, then a plastic frame holding the sleeve in place and adding yet another layer of protection) is fairly susceptible to tears. There is a slice on the bottom where you can attach the USB cable. However, many USB micro cables have a thick rubber cover for the connector, making it easier and safer to attach and deattach the cable. This may become too tight a fit and it is tempting to lift the rubber sleeve off at the bottom during charging (and with the Evo, you know you are charging a LOT.) It took a month, but inevitably, the sliced out piece tore off and now the bottom has a tear.
The cover for the camera piece is welcome in outdoor situations - no worry about dust or rain becoming an immediate problem. The cover comes off easily and I have had no problems quickly using the camera/video with minimal fuss.
The sacrifice you may for the super rugged exterior is that you lose the functionality of the kick-stand. I miss that.
Finally, the holster has shown itself to be just as rugged as the rest of the case assembly. Bulky, yes, but it carries the weight and the belt seems more likely to give up before the case lock makes an unscheduled release. However, I have had a couple of occasions where a bump against my phone has caused the entire phone to release from the holster, although not to the point where the phone comes flying off.
All in all, the product is really good. With the exception of the softness of the rubber sleeve and the very tight fit for the USB cable. It is rugged. I keep saying that and seido keeps pointing this out. I am now looking for a slimmer case, where the kick-stand is accessible and the USB port is unencumbered. This case though will be used for those planned occasions where a rugged case is more appropriate. I was hoping that this would be my everyday case, but - for me, it is not. Don't get discouraged by my rating. It is an indication that the design flaws (as I must call the USB fit and the begging to be teared flap and the loss of kick stand functionality) are the only two things disappointing me. I wasn't sure what to expect, but as I've used this product, I find it well built. I like the complete sheild system to protect the EVO. The only thing I found is the rubber cut out for the charging cable split off. Other than that, it is rugged as advertised. - Pretty Durable
I really love the product it is so durable I know that if I were to drop my phone it would not break. I clip it to the inside of my purse. I also clip it to my pants and I am a female and I know that if it fell out of the clip it wouldn't break because of the cases it is in.

- Satisfying product!
I got this today, just before I had to take my one day old iPhone4 out for the first time.
For me, this is just what I wanted. Not hard like a plastic, not to soft or sticky so very easy to handle and to put in and out of jean pockets.
It is not a 100% hard plastic, but still has the same texture on the outside. But again, not too hard so it won't hurt your phone's actual surfaces.
As some reviewers said, the cutouts do look very cheap and case doesn't fit perfectly (by this I mean not 100% but still 80-90%).
Still, the overall design is sleek and fitting problem is just a little thing ... and fit might depend on temperature too.
So ... for a month from now or so, apple's giving out free high-quality cases to whoever buys the new iphone.
Till that free case finally arrives from apple, (apple said it takes about a month for me to get the free case) or ever after that,
I think I can use this case. So for the ones who are hesitating, I'd say ... go ahead and get it. This is a recommendable product. - Bought for Interim Case
I just needed something quick, while waiting for other cases to be released. It's worth a couple of dollars, only. The window cutout, around the sim card slot, is too big, causing top part to look bent and off centered. Rhett - Garbage
This case is not worth any price. It does not fit snugly on the iPhone 4, has a large seam all around it from the molding process, the cut outs are not precise and its glossy finish is excellent at displaying fingerprints. It is garbage. - Barely Makes It
I've bought this case because so few cases are available for the iPhone 4 at this time (July 2010.) This case will do the job, but it is cheap, ill fitting, rather unattractive, and VERY VERY overpriced. Truly it's worth about 29 cents. If you, sad soul, need a case in the interim before the big boys put out really nice cases, buy this one ... it will protect your investment ... but sorry to say, it's really a rip-off at this price. - very very cheap
First thing noted was that it came in a little plastic bag, not a plastic case.
Upon opening the case you notice the material it is made out of is cheap.
Then upon further inspection you notice the volume buttons are not quite round, and they have melted plastic strands from when they were making the indents for the volume buttons.
Very cheap, returned it.

I got my iPhone back up and running for only $[...] bucks, but it wasn't easy. Removing the broken glass was really tricky. Installing this product was easy and it works great! - I doubted this product at first
When I ordered this product I prepared for the worst, I took suction cups from the shower/etc. It turns out that it arrived promptly, missing NOTHING at all. It came with 2 screwdrivers, 2 pry tools, 3m adhesive tape, the suction cup, the guitar pick and even a slightly thicker guitar pick shaped object.
Anyways, I did run into trouble during the setup. Everything was going fine until about the 3rd screw on the back of the screen. I found a slightly larger screwdriver and it worked fine. I took out the LED without any damage and I used a hair dryer to remove the old digitizer (it took a while, be patient). The adhesive was hard to peel, but in the end it worked. After putting the new screen on, I was in a hurry to close my iphone up and see if it worked. In fact i was in so much of a hurry that I didnt put any of the screws back in. Upon closing it up I promptly noticed that the area where the two lower bars of apps are was not responding (but the slider bar area was). To me it was clear that I didnt plug the digitizer in correctly. I tried shaking the iphone and tapping it, but that only made it worse, gradually the screen stopped responding.
When I tried to open it up with the suction cup again the digitizer came loose from the adhesive, instead of it opening the way it did in the first place. By then, as you can imagine I was flipping out. I let it sit overnight so the adhesive could settle. In the morning I tried again and all went well, I attatched the wire (it had falled completely off) and now the screen works just as well as (if not better) than my original digitizer. - So sad
Girlfriend said that all these kits were the same well no their not... Get the kit i am hoping to fix it and the 2nd little tab you gotta put back in doesn't fit. Trade the different screens back the CABLE SNAPS OFF!! so now neither of the screens work and now she's going to kill me... I don't know what I am gonna do :( be careful when you buy - Did not include adhesive strips!! Ughhh!
So had this overnighted because I was going out of town and needed my phone fixed. No adhesive strips included in the package so the item was worthless. I even paid for overnight shipping whcih was now a waste. There was absolutely no attention to detail for an overnight order. - Incomplete
While this product very well may be as fabulous as its been reviewed, I've got some issues. One, no kind of directions came with the product, only a small note pleading for a 5-star rating. Well, it isn't going to come from me. Now I understand there are Youtube videos and tutorials out there, but I only know of this by my own research, not from the retailer. Bottom line is, they should provide SOMETHING. I have no idea what the oddly shaped gasket thing is for, I have little hope in finding the right sized Phillips screwdriver, so now I'll have to buy one online and wait for that to come it. I suppose you get what you pay for.

My husband bought this for his 30g ipod & all it dose is blink it works fine on my 4g but even after taking it back to the store nothing. So he is out the coins & I have an itrip I did not need. Good luck I don't think it is a dud because it works on a 2g as well. - Acceptable quality
I agree with David J. Magallanes that iTrip is OK, it does its job. Sound quality is acceptable. I wish it had better buttons and better button response -- I place iPhone with iTrip on my car's middle console and often while driving I have to press iTrip's buttons quite hard against the console to get these buttons respond. There is not real "click" as on Etymotic HF2i headphone remote control. Apple would never create any gadget with so poor button response. That is due to the specific button design -- one side of the button is fixed to the body of the transmitter and the opposite side is moving. They really need to improve button construction.
And instead of micro-USB they could easily use mini-USB -- there is enough space for that and those cables are often used for portable hard drives, while micro-USB cable should be bought just for this accessory.
My biggest problem is poor button response. - Very comfortable

I purchased this assuming it would be compatible with my car, unfortunately the audio system in my car does not support this type of unit, sound for the calls was not able to come through the audio system to keep I would of had to install the black speaker box somewhere in the car. We have a similar unit in another vechile and it works well through the audio system so it depends on your vechicle and the system it has. I will say the return process with Amazon and the seller was seamless, no issues at all. I learned the hard way, do your homework before you purchase one of these. - Motorola Hands free ih1000
This model is much better than their earlier cheaper version. I've installed one in each of our two cars and bought this one for my daughter. Good price on amazon. Should be comfortable with basic automobile electrical systems for installation. I used the included speaker, which is easier than buying a harness and routing through the radio audio. Easy to use, voice commands. - Bluetooth works perfectly
The Motorola Bluetooth Car Kit is the best accessory I have bought for my cell phone. - Keep it simple
I've had the Motorola IHF1000 now for almost a month and so far it's great. It's very easy to use, just a few simple buttons and the use of the voice commands and you're set. This product is also small so it fits great just about anywhere in your car.
Pros:
* Easy to use.
* Easy to hear others through the speakers in your car.
* Voice commands really works well.
* So far it appears that no one can tell that I'm using this device and those I have told say that they hear me well.
* For the most part this device really understands your voice commands. And the more you use it the better it goes.
* There is an option to turn off notifications like when it synchs with your phone, I'm just waiting until I get used to how long it takes to synch before I turn the notifications off. So far synch time varies from a few seconds to up to 20 seconds. But most of the time it's very fast.
* I really like the blue glow at night.
Cons:
* Sometimes when you do a number dial the system acts dyslexic. But once you learn that as you say the numbers you can simply say "no" to reject the last section of numbers.
* There are only 20 memory slots for numbers. When I first got this system I figured that was plenty but it turns out that Motorola really needs to add more slots. Sure there may be some numbers of people that you only call once in a while but it's nice to put them in there, especially because when they call you it will say their name and not the phone number they are dialing from.
And these are cons for any hands free kit you may want to consider:
* The volume is not controlled through the car radio, so you will have to use the buttons on the right to adjust the volume.
* If you have a factory installed navigation like mine then it will talk over your conversation if you are using both at the same time.
* If you are near your car and not in your car but your car is running then the Kit may be on and then if someone calls it will go through your car.

We had it installed by Best Buy. It was about $100 to install in my Saab convertible and they did an excellent job. This thing is great! Even with the convertible top down you can still hear the calls quite clearly and those to whom I am speaking can hardly tell, there is very little wind noise. Very easy to program and use. I give this product my highest recommendation!

I almost bought this car mount because I have a case installed that I don't want to remove every time I use a car mount like you need to do with the stock Motorola model. Guess what? I made my own with a generic XM Roady holder that I no longer use since I cancelled my XM. I just super-glued a 15-cent round magnet onto the mount in the proper place to operate the car dock feature automatically and voila! -- a good, solid, dock system for little cost. The mount works with my windshield, cup holder, and vent XM connectors. AND you can slide the phone open while it's in the holder to access the keypad. So, if you're looking to save money and hassles, try a DIY setup. After 3 trips totaling over 8,000 miles, no problems whatsoever! - The 2nd One Works Well
I've owned the Seidio Droid car charger since February 2010. My first one quit charging because the microSD male adapter in the cradle pushed into the body of the cradle. Seidio replaced it for free (I had to pay return shipping) and the new cradle has what looks to be a slightly longer microSD male end and it looks more securely attached to the housing. Also, it's easier to slide the phone onto the charger; the first one was VERY tight and took just the right angle to get the phone placed to charge. I wouldn't recommend the first one I recieved but do the second.

Cons:
The metal microSD charger on my first phone pushed into the housing preventing charging

I've had a few Seidio cases and holsters and they have always been worth the money. The car charger was the first time I saw a poorly executed product from them. Luckily they replaced it or I would have gone with a different car kit. - It's about time
Why did this take so long for someone to come up with? It works with the case on. Buy this and the Seidio case together and you will be thrilled. .Seidio Innocase Holster Case Combo for Motorola Droid (Black) Only downside is USB connectivity. My car stereo can read my phone through the USB connection when I connect straight to it, but when I hook up the car kit to my USB connector for my stereo, it passes through power, but not USB connectivity. I was very suprised that it did not work - charger stopped working
The mount stopped charging after one month. It works great besides the charger, and the phone fits the mount with the seido case as advirtised. I would not recommend this product. I see on many other reviews that this product broke as well. - Does what it says, but some quality issues
I'll keep this short. The other reviews here are generally spot-on about this kit. It "does what it says on the tin" regarding car mode, fitting the phone with the Seidio case (which I also have and use), and charging. I have been using for a little less than two months, and here are my comments:
1. The suction cup wants to come off my windshield every few weeks. I prepped the glass with the alcohol swab, and have tried other tricks, but it just wants to come undone on its own.
2. It is hard to pull the phone out of the dock with one hand without part of the mounting system coming apart. I generally have keys, etc. in my hand when getting out of my car, and removing the phone really should be a "one handed affair" but it doesn't really work that way.
3. As mentioned, the car adapter supplied with the kit is a standard mini USB, not the same connector as on the phone. This means the ONLY way to charge it in my car with this adapter is to use the dock. Not convenient if, for example, I want to just charge it while driving in a friends car, where I won't install the dock. I know it probably saved them a few bucks having the more expensive "native" connector which is on the phone on the adapter and the dock power input, but at this price they should offer more functionality of having everything use the Droid standard plug.
4. Coiled adapter cord doesn't easily reach from power plug in car to dock without stretching tightly, even in my small Saab 900.
5. My biggest complaint I saved for last, because I don't believe it will impact people as widely as those above. My dock stopped working to charge my phone in less than 2 months! I had to send it back, and they say it will take 1-2 weeks before replacement is sent. There is no excuse for taking this long on a "premium" product when it has a problem. Also, I think they might only offer a 6 month warranty. Not a good way to instill confidence in your product quality.
tl;dr: Good dock, maybe some quality and design issues, works well with Innocase.

You get what you pay for. I paid $9 including shipping, so I cant complain. However, the screen protectors were horrible, they barely would stick to the phone, and were just a headache. the silicone cases work ok. The earphones are not apple earphones, as you would think by looking in the picture, but they work ok. The wall charger with USB cord works just fine. I did not receive my armband case, but with this stuff being cheap...I wouldnt trust it to hold my phone anyways :). The FM radio transmitter works much better than I expected, and I use it on a regular basis. Overall it is OK...and it gets the job done. And the green crazyondigital wristband is an added bonus! :) - Iphone package

- A great fix!
This is way better than buying an OEM trackball, plus it looks way cooler! I have a blue trackball in my blackberry right now and when the LED behind the trackball lights up the whole trackball glows blue. Lovely. The only thing I don't like is that some of the rings that came in the package were already broken, good thing there is 5! - Very good, inexpensive replacement trackballs.
I got these because the trackball of my Blackberry 8300 was sticking. And I thought the colors would be cool.
This seller got the package to me quickly, and everything was there. I tried out a few of the colors, and the trackballs move nice and smoothly. Maybe not quite as fluid as a trackball on a brand new Blackberry, that is why I took away one star. But I've had no problems so far. And they were easy to install. I've instaled trackballs before, but for someone who has never done this before, you use the included "guitar pick"-like tool they send to gently pry out the silver retaining ring, take out the old trackball, place the new trackball in the slot, and snap a new ring into place. It's realy easy and takes just a couple minutes.
For the mechanically disinclined, maybe 5 minutes.
This is a good replacement for a good price. - my balls
As I was told the other day, my balls came in the mail. Well for the phone they did just that. Great timing and work just fine. It fit nicely and I installed it myself. I event have extras!! This was a package that cost lest for all 5 than I would have got 1 for locally. And by less I mean 260% less. These even feel better than the orginal, has better traction.
