- droid docking station

Very pleased with this product. No complaints. Makes charging a lot more convenient. - DROID Dock

I'm very pleased with this product. Not only does it provide a stable place to put your phone, it also delivers a quick (less than an hour) charge. When the phone is inserted into the dock internal software is enabled and the device becomes a nice *clock radio* with soft buttons for alarm, photo slide show, music, time and temperature. It also shows charge status and provides a very noticeable boost in bluetooth power increasing the range to about 30 feet when playing music through my wireless headphones. - Never Received Motorola DROID Multimedia Docking Station

I wish that I could give a review. However, I never received the Motorola DROID Multimedia Docking Station. Please let me know what I need to do.
Thank you,
Julie Jensen - Great Charging Dock

I suppose it's a little pricey, but it sure is a convenient place to quickly park my Droid at night next to my bed. I use "Gentle Alarm" app on the Droid to wake me up in the morning too, and the phone is all charged up. Don't use the other multimedia features--it is just a very quick and easy night charging dock for me. Is much easier to put the Droid on this station and the charging plug goes right in the side than to try and manually stick a charging cord in the tiny jack myself each night. I'd buy this again! - only reason I didn't give it a 5th star...

REALLY wish it had an integrated speaker. Otherwise, I love it. If you want a convenient charger and the ability to use your phone as an alarm clock -- it's perfect. Just beware middle-of-the-night notifications!

Customer Reviews:
- Good charger, bad cable

I got this charger and a separate extra battery for my HTC EVO. The charger works fine. The cable that came with the charger (to connect to and charge the phone) quit working after about 3 weeks. No longer works at all. I didn't get this thinking it came with a cable, but I gave it four stars for including such a low quality cable with it. - Partially god

The charger itself works fine and is an easy way to charge the phone and spare battery. The USB charging cable that came with it is long, which is convenient. However, the cable that came with mine was faulty and sporadically stopped charging my phone. I'd wake up and see my phone plugged in, not charging and with a low battery level. - Great little charger - works perfectly.

This battery charger works exactly the way I hoped it would work for my Droid Incredible. It can charge the phone in a few hours, like other chargers, while also charging a reserve battery, unlike most other chargers. The Incredible was eating through battery life relatively rapidly and I wanted to have a second battery fully charged ready and available to replace the near to depleted one. From that point of view, this charger works beautifully. I have now traded up to a Seidio 1750mAh battery from the OEM 1300mAh battery, which came with the phone. This new larger capacity battery copes much better with the energy demands of the Incredible and so I need to use the second stand-by battery much less frequently, at this point, but it is still a nice secure feeling to know that there is always a fully charged battery waiting to be used, any time the battery in current use gives out. Also the phone retains its full functionality while being charged. That was not the case with a different el-cheapo dual battery charger that I purchased while waiting for the Seidio charger, which was on back order for a few weeks, to become available once more at Amazon. When the Incredible was plugged in to the el-cheapo charger, both batteries would charge but the phone's functions were totally blocked, which was a pain. That never happens with this Seidio charger. Well worth the price! - Great external charger for my evo

I don't have opportunity to leave my evo plugged up all the time so having this external wall charger ensures that I always have battery charged to swap out my evo battery when it runs down. (it works great with OEM battery and in adddion to the after market spare battery I purchased. - Seidio Multi-Function

Great product very happy with the way it can charge batteries and the phone for my HTC Evo. Small and practical i would recommend this to anyone how has the Evo.

Customer Reviews:
- Awesome

Totally love this.. love the fact that I am able to charge without having to plug it in. Very happy with the product and the shipping time. - Really handy for keeping phone charged and ready

This review is based on the Palm Pre Plus which comes equipped with the compatible phone back - no kit needed.
When I first saw the Touchstone Charging Dock I wondered why anyone would buy it since the phone already comes with a wall charger. After reading some of the reviews I decided to give it a try, and it is really great to have.
Just plug the Touchstone in using the wall charger that came with the phone and set your phone on top. You can use your phone while it is on the base, easily pick it up and put it back down, and when the screen is off it shows the time so you can use it for a clock (I also have the Weather Dashboard Lite app installed, so I can see the weather condition and temperature too).
I'm thinking about buying another one to keep in the car to use with my car charger. It should work great since the Touchstone is somewhat heavy and has a tacky bottom that should stay put, and the phone is held securely on the base magnetically.
- palm pre touchstone

This particular product doesn't come with cable or with the Palm Pre back that aids in mounting the pre for charge or pc- sync. - Love these stones

Fast delivery, courteous and informative customer service.
A consumer can not ask for more.
Look forward to ordering from The OEM Shop in future.
Great Experience and a convenient, fun product. - Palm Pre Plus includes inductive cover!

Just wanted to let everyone know that if you own the "Palm Pre Plus", you do NOT need to purchase the inductive cover. According to the Palm website, the Pre Plus already includes this cover, so save yourself the $20, and just purchase the Touchstone charger.
The Touchstone charger is great, easy to use, and very convenient. You need to use it with your wall charging kit (it doesn't come with an AC cable).

- OEM charger for 9650

I bought this charger as a "spare" to keep at the office. I was pleased to see that it was identical to the OEM charger that came with my 9650. Amazon's price and shipping service beat all other competitors. Thank you Amazon. - For a spare charger

Bought it to use as a spare charger at work.
I use it for Blackberry Bold 9650 and works fine. - Genuine Blackberry charger in retail packaging. 5V 700mA output, works w/ most micro-USB phones like Incredible, Droid, etc.

There are so many sketchy sellers selling phone chargers out there, that it can be a bit scary. The problem is that if the charger is poorly made, the output of the charger can be out of spec and can, in some cases, fry the phone you connect to it.
For that reason, when it comes to phone chargers, you should stick to name brands. (They are all made in China, but the name brand ones are usually subject to stricter QA).
When I found this charger on Amazon, SOLD BY AMAZON, I jumped on it. It's a MICRO USB charger, made for the Blackberry and sold under the Blackberry name, in retail packaging. The rated output is 5V and 700mA.
This charger should work fine with most any phone that uses the MICRO USB connector. The key number to pay attention to is the second one, the rated amperage. This is the MAXIMUM amount of current that the phone can request from the charger. A typical USB port on a PC provides as little as 100mA, and few provide more than 500mA. So this charger should charge your phone faster than when it's connected to a PC. A few phones out now can use up to 1000mA. But that just means they CAN use that amount. If 700mA is provided, they'll still charge, just a bit more slowly.
This is an excellent quality name brand travel micro USB charger at a price that beats the no-name junk from third party sellers. What's not to like? - Found these useful to quickly charge non-blackberry phones

These have charged my LG micro-USB phones very quickly compared to a micro-USB to standard USB cable connected to a DC power source (either computer or AC/DC converter). The phone briefly complains about the type of cable, then the phone charges flawlessly. - OEM Unit at Amazon Price

I purchased this travel charger along with the desktop charging pod (BlackBerry Charging Pod for BlackBerry Tour 9630) and it works great.
The charger is the BlackBerry OEM travel charger with a folding North American/Japanese style-only plug, it does not work with the BlackBerry travel adapters. It also comes in a standard white box like the chargers that come with the phones, not in a retail package.
Can't beat the deal from Amazon, especially if you buy enough to get free shipping.

- Does what it is supposed to

It works very well. No issues. It even charges my Bluetooth ear piece. It fits very snug in the cigarette lighter or 12v, so be careful when pulling it out. - Great product at an even better price.

Can't beat this price for an OEM blackberry car charger. Works flawlessly with my 9650. - Blackberry Original Charger

I'm happy with my purchase. Needed a charger car charger for my BB 8520 and the price was a steal at $7. If you go to stores s like Best Buy, Radio Shack expect to pay around $ 15 to $20. Thank you Amazon once again!
- Works as Advertised

I've had it for about 6 months and it works. No issues. I have to admit that I don't use it very often because the battery on my 9700 is pretty good. But when I do need it, it's there for me. - Works as it should

the connector is a bit on the hard side, u need to make a small push to connect it properly, but once it fits in, it wont snap out unless u want it too.

- Very handy

Works fine, the blue LED is quite bright and creates a nice ambiance if you like. No problems thus far charging my devices. Recommended - nice compact charger

I bought 2 of these. My husband says his worked fine. I haven't used mine yet, but I
really like the compact size, and the fact that it will accomodate 2 devices. I'm
sure it'll come in handy when I forget the charge the iPhone at home. - Great Product that servers my needs

I read several reviews about car charger and came across this piece. It is just what I wanted, no cord, no mess and allows me to charge whatever device I want.
Kudos to the designer of this product as it is very nice, doesn't take up too much space and feels like a durable and quality product.
So far I have no trouble with it and I am happy with my purchase.
- works well with iPod Touch 3G

Purchased from Amazon over a month ago and has worked well
with my son's iPod Touch 3G. Using it in a Honda CRV (not sure
if that has to do with anything though) and it has charged
his iPod to almost 100% in around 30 minutes.
- excellent!

with plans of going on a vacation recently, i knew we'd need multiple lines for the car charger. i found this 2 line charger. it's inexpensive. it worked well throughout the trip. our dsi-xl didn't have an adaptability device so we had to charge it in hotel rooms at night - it would have been nice if car chargers came with at least one conventional adapter, too. for the price, this is an excellent resource and i've kept it in the glove box. i highly recommend this for anyone with a cell phone, dsi, game boy, play station, manual dvd / tv, kindle, etc. of course, i think it's senseless to get this if you only drive short distances, although, if you have as bad a memory as me, you sometimes find that you've left the house with your cell phone having a weak charge. then, this works, too. with it not having a chord (which is nice for storage) it makes it impossible for the kids to play and use this device at the same time. thus, an optional extension might also be nice. i highly recommend this item and, based on a two-week usage, i give it an "A-".

- Perfect bedside companion

This product has performed exactly as described. I love having a nice little stand for my BB that let's me use it as an alarm clock and leave it fully charged. I definitely followed the advice of another reviewer and covered the night light with tape to dim it down a bit. It was also less than 1/2 the price of one of the Big Box stores. - A Must for your 9700

I first bought one of these for my 8310 & haven't looked back since. This really is a must for your Blackberry, it charges it without putting wear & tear on the usb port. Now please realize that you'll need to buy a charging cord if you don't already have one, some people give this bad reviews because they don't realize that. Another thing people think is that you can sync using this, that's a NO, this is a charging cradle(pod) that's it, to sync you'll need to plug directly into your Berry. Now, this is awesome for CHARGING, trust me, if you have a Blackberry do yourself a favor & pick one of these up, or 2 like I did! - Best Buy!!! Great Value

It is a 4th item of this products. I have bought it before and come back and buy it again as it is a great buy. It works just fine with the nice design. Beside of its look, it will keep protect yr mini usb port so u wont hv to plug in and plug out which just dock it in at anytime when u want to fill up the batt power. Only reason for 4 stars why not 5 which I do not know how long will it keep functioning properly. So far so good though. It has been 3-4 mths and still kicking good. - Perfect Charge Adapter for Blackberry Bold 9700

This adapter makes it so much easier for me to connect my Bold 9700 to the charger at night. I just pull my phone out of my pocket and set it on the adapter. So quick and so easy. Just plug your A/C charger in the back of this adapter and set in your favorite spot. Mine is next to my sink in the bathroom. Eliminates the wear on the electrical plug on the phone. Highly recommended! - Excellent charging pod.

Fit and finish is excellent. Very small and works fine. Only one downside that it didn't come with the charging cable. Had to utilize original charging cable which came with the phone.

Customer Reviews:
- Waste of money

The mat must be plugged in and is not wireless. Sorry I wasted my money on this piece of junk - Great Product

Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R1UD7DVOHCVBGQ All it takes is a little research before you buy. All of these negative reviews are silly. This product uses induction charging technology, just like your Oral B toothbrush. Only devices equipped with the proper induction receivers will charge on this, EXCEPT for the back USB port. It'll charge anything USB. I don't know of any products being sold that already have a Powermat induction receiver built in. Thus, you must buy receivers for your products, like iPhone docks, Powercubes, and iPhone cases - all made buy Powermat.
Here's what I'm charging with it:
iPhone 3GS in Otterbox Defender on Powermat Dock with SendStation Dock Extender (available on Amazon; requires slight sanding to fit into Otterbox case).
iPad 16GB on Powermat Dock with SendStation Dock Extender (available on Amazon; requires slight sanding to fit into Otterbox case).
HTC EVO 4G plugged into Powermat Powercube Receiver
Cisco 7921G Wireless IP Phone plugged into back USB Port.
All devices charge. It works quite well. Read the instructions. The base is magnetized and you can feel your devices slip into the proper place, towards the front of the Powermat. There are only 3 spots on this Powermat (plus the back USB port).
Please, research a product before you buy and don't assume anything; don't leave a bad review because you failed to research the product and you just magically expected it to work. It's a technological product. Not a magical product. - Why Bother

I, like many I suppose, liked the idea of putting a portable device (or several) on a mat to charge. On a trip to Best Buy the other day, my ten year-old techno-son found it, saying, "how cool is this?" I bought it, not fully reading the box. It may be "wire-less", but it's not "wireless" as we know it, as in WiFi. You need an adapter for each device, which plugs in to the device, then the adapter has to lay on the right spot on the mat to charge. The mat of course needs to be plugged in to an AC outlet. It's just as easy to plug the charger into an AC outlet and into the device. The only advantage I can see is maybe fewer wires, as up to 3 devices can be charged at once. Also, the USB port on the back doesn't work with my iPhone or Rocketfish USB cord. Basically a needless product with some great marketing. - It seems to be wireless but it isn't ...

I would like to hand it to the advertising people. They make it sound like its a wireless charging device but in reality it is only if you buy their special case for a select few devices ... which buy the way is sold separately. In the situations where they don't offer the special case a wireless to power cord adapter is available for purchase which negates the whole wireless idea, again sold separately. There are many other detail reviews that are all saying the same thing which is it isn't as sleek as it sounds and there are many hidden costs. You must add an adapter to your phone (which will make it bigger) in order to charge it.
What I would like to mention is an alternative. Check out the following link to Gomadic's Universal Charging Station, this charging station is the only true charging station that comes with the charger and a few free tips to charge many devices. I see they sell tips separately for over 3,000+ devices, this charging station is truly upgradable and universal with no hidden gotchas.
Gomadic Universal Charging Station for the Apple iPhone 3GS and many other mobile devices - uses Gomadic TipExchange Technology - 4 tips included
- Disappointing and Pointless

When I first saw this, I felt I needed it, even though it cost a $100. However, when I received it, I realized how useless it really is. If you do not have an iphone, ipad, or blackberry, you must plug in your device to an adapter, and then place the adapter on the mat. Even if you have one of those devices, be expected to pay another $30 per device just to make it work. It really makes it no different than plugging your charger into the wall outlet. I feel that this is NOT AS ADVERTISED, and would not waste your money on it. Mine is being returned tomorrow.

- Tekkeon TekCharge Mobile Power and Battery Charger

I thought this would be a great little charger to allow me to extend the use of my phone, MP3 player, or other USB charged devices when AC power isn't available. This does exactly what I wanted and it will be traveling with me. You can use AA alkaline batteries or rechargables and always have a way to recharge your device.
The package and presentation of the charger is good and the manual is well written. It is only slightly larger than four AA batteries and seems to be well made. There are lights to indicate available charge and a mini USB port that can be used to charge the rechargable batteries without removing them. There is also a power switch that controls power to a standard USB connector that you can plug the device you want to charge in. It comes with a cable and several tips for some common phones, including a mini USB tip. I doubt that I will use them, but I have them.
I am pleased with this charger and will be buying one for my wife.
- Good for about 31 days

Mine worked great to charge several devices, including my HTC Droid Eris. Unfortunately, it quit working and when I tried to return to Amazon I got a very unhelpful email that I could not return it because it was past 30 days. This was after Amazon prompted me to print and shipping label and package it for an exchange. - Works great, but quality isn't so great.

Everything works as advertised. I was able to charge (with 80% charged NiMH Energizer Batteries) my LG Xenon Smartphone from no bars to 2.5 out of 3 bars within 1 hour, 2 minutes and 27 seconds. Very impressive. The unit does get quite hot, though. Stand it up on it's side so there is more surface area to radiate the heat away. Otherwise it's great except for the plastic being so frail. - It's not operate with iphone.

I bought it.
But it cannot operate with iphone.
I live in S Korea.
What can I do for you?

- Works fine for a few weeks, then fails

I purchased a TekCharge in June, along with Eneloop rechargable batteries. Took on a trip. It would not turn on after a few days. The batteries are still good. Amazon exchanged it for a new one when I got home. Took the new one on a trip. It failed after 15 days. Same batteries are still good. Nice idea if it worked reliably. Neither device was dropped, dunked, or otherwise damaged. They just quit turning on. I'll be attempting to return this one to Amazon as well.

- Great Accessory

This is a great addition to my Blackberry Bold 9650. The cradle is listed only for the Tour but since the Tour and the Bold share basically the same body it works flawlessly. Its great not to have to plug in the phone in every time I want to charge it. It also comes in handy since I use the Kindle app on my blackberry I'm sometimes reading in the dark, its nice to be able to find the cradle with the little light and just drop my Bold right in. I even charge my Bold off of my USB hub now, since the USB cable doesn't make a data connection the hub just gives power too it freely, whether connected to my computer or not (it won't charge when plugged in to the USB connection on the phone). - Blackberry Charging Pod

As expected, the charging pod (stand) is excellent. Just drop the Blackberry in the stand with your eyes closed. No need to fumble trying to plug the cord into the slot on the phone. - BB Charging Pod

If you have never used one, charging pods are a great accessory. This will work for the new Bold also. - A must for every BB user!!

Quite simply a must for every BlackBerry user. Stylish and useaful, this saves the power port on your phone from abuse! - love it: If you phone fits, but it without thinking

This is a no brainer... buy this item if it fits your phone. I have two, one of the office and the second near my bed. Enjoy!!
