    This unique mat is composed of fiberglass and is coated on both sides with non stick silicone, allowing for the dough to be rolled out effortlessly. The World Cuisine silicone ski-resistant counter pastry mat is ideal for kneading, beating and rolling dough or working with sugar and chocolate. This mat can withstand extreme temperature ranges, however it is not designed to be a baking mat and should never be folded or cut in order to fit in a conventional oven.

  • Perfect for cinnamon rolls!
    Used this pastry mat when I rolled out sticky yeast dough for cinnamon rolls. The mat performed perfectly: provided a non-slip, non-stick surface for the dough! I rolled out the dough, spread on softened butter, brown sugar and cinnamon, then rolled up the cinnamon rolls jelly-roll style. The dough released very easily from the mat, and I used dental floss to 'cut' the rolls. (Lift up one end of the roll, slip dental floss underneath. Pull the ends of the floss up, cross over, then 'slice' through the roll. You'll end up with perfect, clean ends, not squished, mishappen rolls).

    Work as a professional chef for fifteen years and although not a pastry chef I do respect quality workmanship. This matt is nice and large so you have plenty of elbow room and truly non slip. highly recommended!!!

    love it, love it, love it. used it for the first serious time last night with fondant. It made it so much easir than using cornstarch. And you don't have that white powder to get off when finished. The large size is a big plus too.

    This pastry mat is a bit large, but works wonderfully! I roll out fresh bread every single day since i got this mat! and i dont end up wasting a lot of time for cleaning it. i am loving it.
