- Installation, setup and use of Wilson Cellular Amp Kit
We have always had poor cellular service at our home, with 0 to maybe 2 bars showing on our phone. Therefore we have not been able to reliably use our cell phone at home. I have been looking for a reasonably and not too expensive way to increase our signal strength. When I ran across the Wilson Amp Kit, I was excited to give it a try. I had already prewired our home with RG6 cable, therefore I would not have to run any extra cable in those hard to get at places. I mounted the antenna outside, installed the indoor antenna and hooked up the amp. My signal strength bars now register 3 to 5 bars on my cellular phone, and I can now use my cellular phone. Wonderful. The key to this purchase was the RG6 cable usage. This made the installation very easy in my case. As I did not have to run a special cable to be able to use the cellular amp. This is a very compact unit and they give you everything you will need in the kit. An excellent buy.
