This battery pertrudes from the laptop but it's worth it because of the longer battery life - Works great...
The battery that came with my Toshiba Satellite laptop was not very good - even when new and in 'battery saver' mode, the battery would konk out after only an hour or so. I admit that I rarely, if ever used it without it being plugged in so eventually the battery was shot so it wouldn't even run for 5 minutes. This battery works great - I can get 3.5 to 4 hours on a full charge. - Toshiba 8-cell battery
I've had my Toshiba laptop for 3-4 years and didn't replace the battery even though the juice gave out after only unplugging it and walking down the hall to a meeting. I finally replaced it with the 8-cell li-ion battery pack and what a difference! Now I can run my PC on battery power for about 3 hours. I bought the Toshiba brand so I don't know how it'll stack up against the after-market batteries. Also, I've had the battery for only a couple of months. The only thing I don't like, and it's a minor thing, is that the battery sticks out about 1/2"--no biggie in the grand scheme. I'm very happy with my purchase and the free shipping that Amazon.com provides is a real help in saving a little dough. - expensive but superior to original battery
At $163 for a second but larger battery, this is pricey but still worth the cost given the awful performance of the original. I get around 2.5 hrs of use which is little compared to others but great against what I had. - New Battery for Toshiba Laptop
This new battery was supposed to work for 4 hours but it only has about 3 hrs. The battery was in good condition but it came later than expected. The only good thing about this product was that the price was at a good deal. I probably wouldn't buy from this seller again.
