This was a replacement for the first protector I had bought several months ago. Fortunately the price had dropped by more than half. I felt ripped off by the first one's price and lack of good instructions to install, and especially its claim to be reusable. It's not. The cover itself is fine. It is cut accurately to the Kindle's dimensions, and, if I had been able to apply it without problems, would have been totally invisible. The problem is making sure that there is not any speck of debris on the surface of the Kindle. I used the supplied cleaning cloth, but to little avail. The slightest dirt makes a bubble in protector. I had about 25 on the one I replaced. I have only 3 on this one. The bottom line is that the protector itself does an excellent job. Good luck applying it. - ITEM DIDN'T FIT AS DESCRIBED
I purchased this item for my Kindle DX and it did not fit. I contacted the retailer and they were willing to refund my money,but since I paid $.97 cents for it+ $2.97 for shipping, I couldn't justify shipping it back and spending more on shipping than its worth. - Great product but..........
Your screen needs to be SPOTLESS before installing the protective sheet. I suggest a non-harsh cleaner, lint free cleaning towel and a can of air befoe installing. A single spec of dust, hair or whatever will cause air bubbles. If you are not dead on in aligning it before instal, it won't line up. it may take a few try's. I would actually suggest cutting 1/16" off the bottom and one side of the sheet to help instal without overlap. But that's just me. - Clearer reading
I gave this to a friend who is a heavy kindle user (150 books in 6 months). She reports the screen printing is clearer through the protector sheet than without using one. Plus now she is less afraid of scratching the surface. - what a hassle
This product went into the trash. Difficult to install and a total waste of money and time.
