My little tracfone one day refused to charge its battery. I tried the D/C (car) charger and I tried the A/C (household current) charger. Zip. Ordered two new batteries. Same result. The phone seems to operate fine. Just needs some power. Now I have to decide if I stick with a tracfone (with a fairly big balance) or go with an adult account (Verizon). I am over 60 and tend to be a "tow truck only" user so the tracfone is fine for me. But it bums me that the power supply won't work. Save your money. New batteries don't help. - Not functional.
I was disappointed when this battery was either (a) unable to be charged, (b) not recognized by my phone, or (c) both. Maybe it was an old, expired battery or something, but I guess that's to be expected from a cheap, $6 replacement. I've since moved on to a new phone (with a different battery).
