- The perfect mini USB to micro USB adapter
There are a number of these types of adapters on the market - mini USB to micro USB charger converters (for your existing chargers). We finally decided on these because they were Motorola branded - so we thought they would be built to a higher quality standard than the generic ones, & we've been very pleased with the Motorola Phones that we have/ had.
I don't know about the other's adapter brands - but these work perfectly. They've saved a number of existing chargers that we already had. A great snug fit, & quality construction too - well worth the very modest price. Our old chargers are now dual purpose - serving both mini USB & micro USB devices. Plus, it's a lot less expensive to get these adapters, & less tangled wires then getting more chargers.
We got one for each old charger that we had - or if you want to save $$$ - you can move the adapter around with the phone. Either way - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! - Shipping too expensive at Amazon
Excellent product and they do the job as intended. Any standard USB charger (Blackberry or HTC) now works with the newer Micro USB phones and headset equipment. The ONLY complaint I have is the cost. The adapters only cost $0.74 each at SF Planet. But then Amazon charged me $2.98 in shipping for EACH item. That is a total rip off! I ordered 20 adapters that only cost a total of $14.80, but with the shipping charge $59.60, the total for 20 adapters was $74.40. Wow that's expensive!!! I have a better idea. Next time I will find a local wireless accessory store who can sell them for $2.00 each and I wouldn't have to pay outragous shipping charges. - Best form factor for this type of adaptation
These do the job of adapting to micro USB quite well. They are made from sufficient wire gauge and they flex so they feel more like an extension of the cable rather than a bulky adapter. Plus, now I don't need to carry around separate micro USB cables! - Great Price and Great Product
Recieved the item on time and fast. Great product and can be used for multiple applications. Mini USB is being adapated as a industry standard for most electronic devices. Seller was great. - Works great from my Droid
