I bought this battery because the original year-old battery in my Motorola W755 was no longer holding a charge. I'd have to charge it up nightly after minimal use. The battery I bought shipped quickly and surprisingly arrived pre-charged. I have been using it for a few months now and I usually have to charge up my phone every other night for the battery to last me the whole day.
Pros - Cheap price, fast shipping, arrived pre-charged
Cons - Not as drastic an improvement as I was expecting
Considering the price, I'd recommend people buy this battery because it is an improvement over the original. Just don't get your hopes too high - Exactly as described
Battery was exactly as described, in factory type packaging and it has performed like the origional battery. Shipping was very quick. - "Old" phone, old batteries, short life, dark side of Capitalism
The industry builds phones with built-in obsolescence... so if you have an old phone, you're gonna get old batteries (even "off the shelf"). This battery held a decent charge for maybe a couple of weeks. Now, as long as I don't use it, it's half-way dead by the afternoon. - OEM replacement battery
Was doubtful whether I would receive an actual OEM product since the price was rock bottom. Was totally surprised especially when the battery was in fact the original type that came with the cell phone. Product is superb and performs just like I bought it off the shelf. I also purchased a cell phone car charger and got the same results. Would highly recommend Amazon.com for all future purchases. - not exactly long-lasting
The battery is a big improvement from my previous one, which had to be charged several times daily. However, it does not function like a new battery ought to - I don't really use my phone much, but have to charge it every day. That being said, considering the alternative of a nearly dead battery, the few dollars were probably worth it, at least for me.
