This does exactly what it says but it extends my plug and makes it really long so it hangs out of my phone and I worry about the stress on the plug port of my phone. - Mini USB charger to Micro USB Charger CONVERTER
It will charge my EVO but causes application list to open and freeze. I have a diff. cord that only works for charging but this one opens Nav. app and if you close it and lock screen it will open again in a few seconds as if phone thinks it's connected to car dock. Some of these cheap usb cords seem to have this in common. When I unplug usb the phone must be rebooted before anything else will work correctly. Don't buy this!
From my research the same manufacturer makes all these and diff. people package and sell them at retail prices. Amazon had them for $1.51 ea. and radio shack had them for $14.00 ea. you do the math. I purchased one 3.5mm extension from Radio shack lately and now the wires where they go into connector have shorts causing extension not to work unless you hold cable a certain way. This started within a few weeks of purchase. My point is most of this stuff comes from the same China manufacturer and places like RS mark it up. Doesn't mean it is better Q because you paid more. Just my .02 - Its not bad!
Initially i thought its not working but i guess its not bad! Its working fine and worth the price too! Better than buying those expensive car chargers for each time you buy a new mobile! Go for it! - This product is not good
It doesn't fit well enough to charge the battery. This product is poorly designed. - Don't go cheap-product doesn't work
I purchased 4 of these since I had recently switched Blackberry devices and my husband still had the old one, with all the chargers. I thought it would be an economical way to share chargers when we were on vacation or at my offsite locations. Only 2 of the 4 that I purchased work. Not a big financial loss, however, I still need to carry my one charger around to make sure that I have charging capability when I am at home in Portland or in Seattle or my other locations. SO, did not resolve my challenge-yet.
