The bluetooth adapter that I purchased did not work for what I bought it for. It was no fault of the seller. - Windows7 Compatible
Purchaed the Kensington K33902 on July 18, 2010, and I am very pleased with the ease that it was loaded on my HP Laptop using Windows7. I loaded the software from the CD provided by the manufacturer. I saw reviews that said that it was not compatible with Windows7. That is absolutely not true except it was purchased before the manufacturer provided a CD with drivers for Windows7. In fact, the software CD that came with the micro adapter as well as the packaging clearly states that it is compatibke with computers running Windows7, Vista and XP (SP2).
A great buy and as illustrated, it can remain plugged into your laptop with very little chance of it being damaged. - Hard to get it work with win 7
I like this device half to half i have to say it connects my phone flawlessly with either windows 7 driver and Broadcomm v6.2.0.9700 however it doesn't apply with headsets headset won't work. also i try to connect it to my headsets it was able connect with the software in the cd and it able to pair and connect with skype but the skype will only let me hear but mic is not working and it only work once upon restart computer and it won't work anymore after that anymore until restart computer. so to those with windows 7, pass this item and go buy something else that will work better with win 7. - didnt work with Windows 7
the drivers are only for Vista.
Amazon return policy was great though, no questions asked. - Windows 7 so far so good
Plugged it into my Windows 7 64-bit laptop without installing anything first. Windows 7 was able to find drivers and install them. Next step is to put this through some testing before I can say anything more.
