I got this so I could use my 2.5 mm with my Blackberry. When I am listening, the speaker's voice is clear and there is no problem. However, I have gotten repeated complaints about the quality of the sound when I am talking. I have tested it myself, and the sound quality when talking is poor. It sounds unclear, like there is interference on the line. It is unfortunate, because I had really hoped that this adapter would be a solution for me, but it is not. Great product at a great price. Just what I was looking for. I use an earbud all the time and am not fond of the bluetooth products. Nothing sounds better than a wired device. This does the job with the new 3.5mm jacks on the new phones. I have the new Droid and this works perfectly. Recommended. - Useful
I purchased boom headsets for our iphones and did not notice that they were 2.5mm jacks. had to get this converter to use them. it works perfectly. i'd be happier if the price was lesser. - Worked well.
I purchased this to convert my headphones to my new phone. It works fine, but the ultimate purpose was to allow the headphones to work as an antenna for the FM radio. It did not allow the signal to be strong enough. Ended up getting new headphones to solve that issue. - HEADSET ADAPTER
Well, since this item isn't exactly a high- tec deal it simply can down to this. I have an LG Dare phone and had bought a headset to use during longer calls only to find out that it would not fit my phone. This resulted in a search for an adapter of the proper size, which was this adapter that reduced my jack size from 3.5 to 2.5 and now my headset works great! The adapter is small enough and sturdy enough that it should last many years. So, therefore I gave it a 5 Star rating, for serving all my needs at a very decent price.
