- One out of two....

Although the fit never seemed too tight, I bought two and used one on my power adapter, putting the other in my bag for emergencies. It worked fine for a few weeks and then began to stop connecting. I'd have to wiggle it to find the right angle and of course that would only last a moment. So I pulled out the 2nd one I ordered and it's working fine, just like the last one.... but it's only been a few days so I am just waiting for it, too, to conk out. It's unfortunate... but it looks like these are not something I would recommend to anyone else. I suppose we'll have to settle for a more expensive converter or buy all new micro-usb power adapters. - Ah, but beware!

These converters are excellent for what they are being advertised for: To be power (charger) converters. Do not attempt to use them as 'data' converters. Here's what happens: They do convert appropriately to charge your device, but are not capable of passing data. When you use them to convert your mini-to-micro for instance to communicate to a desk top back-up or synchronization process, the device will not be recognized, since there is no complete data conversion (pin-out) provided in these. But for the price it is a cool quick conversion for your car, boat, home, etc. when you just come off the 'old' USB chargers that have the mini connecter . . . - 1 out of 2 worked

1 out of 2 of the adapters worked. The second one creates a short, so it is now landfill fodder. I guess for $6 (including shipping) having 1 that worked is ok. - Most don't work. Bad quality.

I purchased two of these. One worked as advertised (charges phone, no data transfer). The other one did not make any connections. The company shipped me a replacement, and it also didn't work! (in a slightly different way...the phone detected that it was plugged into USB, but still did not charge.) My units look just like the picture, have a "V8" lightning bolt "V3" on the top. - don't work for htc evo!

was really hard to get into the bottom of the htc evo, almost felt like I was going to break the connector inside the phone.
Once plugged in the charging light would only come on for 2-3 seconds and then it would quit charging.
I tried with a wall charger and normal usb mini (to computer) cable.
Both did the same.
