  • Works pretty well
    This item does what it says it will. It is pretty cheaply made and easy to mess up the dual coiling cables if you pull one end without pulling the other. I would not give it to clumsy adults(like me), but kids will probably not mess it up. Hahaha!

    It works and that's all I'm interested in. Just always pull both plug ends at the same time.
  • Defective Sync Cable
    I bought two of these USB cables for my iPhone 3Gs. One of them did not work at all. The other one is working but has very poor build quality which should not last very long. The price was very cheap but so is the quality.
  • Passable as short term solution
    Because it's inexpensive, I bought several. Kept one at the office, one in my computer bag, and the rest at the house.

    It worked great for several months, but then it started not to work; i.e., won't synch, won't charge my iphone.

    I didn't know it was malfunctioning until I charged it one night, or so I thought. It was too late to do anything about it the next morning when I left. Fortunately, I had a charger in the car and managed to charge up the phone.

    Then lately, and one-by-one, each of the synching cables started to malfunction. I am down to my last one, and am shopping for another one. But I won't buy this one. Not a surefire solution by any means.

    This worked perfectly for my iPhone 3gs--syncing and charging. For $.01 plus shipping it's an awesome deal. If it doesn't work for your iPhone 3gs, there may be a problem with your phone.
  • Good for the price.
    It gets jumbled if you don't pull both sides carefully in order to retract the cord.
    It's good for the price and it does the job but I would have gotten the one with the push button re-tractor if it was cheaper.
