This cable works great on any device ity a micro USB. Labeled for blackberry, but works fine on HTC's newer devices with the micro USB slot. Data and charge capabilities. - Doesn't work for the Evo
I ordered two of these for my Evo because other reviewers said it works for charging and transferring data. It shipped quickly, which was nice. It's about 3 feet. The problem came when I tried to use the wire. When plugged in to my computer, it only charges the Evo for a couple of seconds, and then stops. I've tried it after reboots and another computer with the same issue. I tried it with the AC adapter that came with the phone, and the same thing happens. The original wire works fine in these cases. I emailed the seller and they said it wasn't compatible with the Evo.
My guess is that maybe other reviewers got different wires. These wires are not as thick as the original wire, and my wires say "DAIPU 857886 TYPE 75°C FULLY RAED 4C+1/28AWG"
I hate to rate it low, but I figured a wire is a wire, and now I'm left with wires I don't have any use for. - Works Great with the HTC Evo
Ordered this cable through Accessories Wholesale and works perfectly for charging the battery and exchanging data with my HTC Evo. It has Micro USB to USB connectors and the cord length is approximately 3 feet. I plan to use it with the mini USB Car Charger Adapter I just bought. Definitely recommend if you need an extra cable for your HTC Evo. It will probably work for most other mobile devices that use the pretty much 'standard' micro USB connection (However, it will not be useful if your device is made by a company that brands their product with a particular fruit). Bought for my HTC Evo 4g, charges it from my computer. Haven't tried connecting it for syncing, i'm sure it will work fine, but don't really need to for my phone. Not just for Blackberry. - Works perfect with the EVO
