Customer Reviews:
- Works for me

I have a very small space for a router, a hard drive, and a modem. I got this and luckily the plug part rotates and works perfectly. I don't have room for anything any bigger. - Very practical

It is fairly large, so I would say it's not very easy to travel with. However, it is very practical and usable at home and on the road. I have a two of these. When you are on the road and at the airport with only one outlet, you can use this to make a new friend and charge your devices at the same time.
Now a days there are notebooks that can charge your usb devices without the laptop being on, but they still don't charge as fast as directly plugging it to a wall outlet. This can be a replacement for all your travel AC adapters for your usb devices because all you need is the usb cable. Unfortunately for certain usb devices that require a lot of power, you can only plug one in at a time. Otherwise the unit protects itself by cutting power in and out, which ends up not charging anything.
This happens when I plug my blackberry usb to the unit.
I like being able to adjust the 3 prong outlet because it allows me to adjust to my surroundings. - Does not work with BlackBerry Bold 9700

When you plug in your BlackBerry Bold 9700 device into the USB ports on this device you will get an error message on your BlackBerry saying it is an incompatible charger. - Won't charge my cell phone

I bought this to charge my cell phone when traveling...and thought it would be handy to also plug in the camera battery charger. When I tried to charge my Motorola cell phone, the phone gave an "unrecognized charger" error and refused to charge. After contacting Belkin support, I was issued an RMA and sent a replacement charger, which has the exact same problem. After doing some research I find that this and some other USB chargers do not give enough power to charge CDMA phones, which makes it useless for my purposes. Tech support from Belkin has been SLOW at best. Still trying to resolve this issue with Belkin...after 5 weeks! - Great, but doesn't charge the iPad

This is exactly what I needed for my travel kit -- well, exactly EXCEPT for the fact that it doesn't charge an iPad. Note that I don't blame Belkin for this -- the iPad is now famously stubborn about what it'll let charge it, and given the list of things that *won't* charge it include my iMac G5, it's hard to hold Belkin responsible for Apple's design decisions.
