Customer Reviews:
- 4 Years

Had this headset since 2006. It is still working except battery won't last any more. So great run for 4 years.
-Giovanni - excellent product

I've become a fan of most plantronics products over the years. Never been disseminated and this blue tooth headpiece is no exception. Comfortable to wear, even for long periods, has good sound and very easy to connect to phone. My one complaint is that it does not come with the small ear piece inserts, (which is the reason I only gave it 4 stars). I had some ear pieces from another plantronic product, so I was fine, but if you don't happen to have a compatible unit, then you have to buy those separately -- which is kind of stupid. Just factor that into the price, I think they are $5.00 for a variety pack on Amazon. I also had to order a car charger separate, (it comes with an AC charger, but not one for the car), which was another $20.00. (oh you wanted a steering wheel with your car)?
Anyway, once you get all the needed accessories, it is a very good quality and functional unit. Highly recommended. I've had many blue tooth head sets over recent years and this is the best one, by far. - Good sound but takes forever to connect

I use this bluetooth with my old Palm Treo. The sound quality is good both on my end and on the listener's end. I have never successfully figured out how to use the buttons on the bluetooth but that could just be me. I did want to warn people that it takes a really long time for the call to switch to the bluetooth, and frequently by the time it beeps and switches over, the person on the other end is saying, "hello? hello? are you there?" It's the only bluetooth I've used so I'm not sure if it's normal, but it's a bit annoying and not so professional. - Voyager 510

This is bad real bad the back ground noise is awfull static wind I do not recommend. And i am returning it for a refund. - Good features, but not sturdy

So, my handy PL 510 is dying and I'm considering whether to get another.
This thing has been on life support for months, after my toddler pulled it apart and chewed on the wires.
"Not durable?" you say, "it wasn't designed as a teething toy!". True, but it had been falling apart even before that, with the rubber outer covering chipping and ripping away. No abuse (other than the toddler), just day-to-day use.
Great: battery life rocks. Good sound quality most times.
Meh: Dang flashy blue light makes me look like a geek. Proprietary charger won't stay plugged in (have to set it just right and walk away slowly).

Customer Reviews:
- Excelent Case, small problem with headphone port

Excellent unison of silicon and hard plastic to form a good looking and protective case. I like the way the hard plastic keeps the softer silicon in place. I don't like the way the headphone port blocks my good headphones from making a connection. The hard plastic opening is too small to except many jacks. I used a dremel tool to sand away some of the hard plastic to make the opening bigger. I only had to sand away a little, but you should not have to do that. Correct this problem and the case is a perfect 5 stars at the $35 price point. - Sticky Situation

I love Otterbox better than any other phone case provider anywhere. They are based in my home state and I went through them with 2 Blackberry Otterboxes (amazing) and now the Iphone 4 case.
It breaks my heart to write my first review giving more opportunities for advancement than features I like. With that said, I will start with a few pieces as to which I do like. I love how the rubber part of the case allows you to plug into your computer, as well as the headphone jack. This functionality would of been a deal breaker for me as I use a car dock I got to listen to my music. It is a tough case. The free case I got from Apple was a tough case as well, but nothing like my Otterbox! They simply make the cases with quality.
Now it saddens me to get to the gist of my review. I had to rate this product low for 2 specific reasons. It was rather frustrating trying to get the solid plastic piece to fit around the rubber piece. My previous cases were snap together, which I understand can not necessarily be done with the Iphone, however it is such a tight fit that I sent 2 emails and 1 text message getting the case on.
This is the most frustrating bit EVER! There is 2 stickers on the plastic screen cover. One has a number 1 and the other has a number 2. Even following the directs that came with the box AND on [...] the sticker did not come off properly. When I attempted to peel the sticker off after I placed the screen on my Iphone it did that annoying half tear thing. Now after an hour of carefully trying to scrape the goo off with the installation card, I have a smudged screen. The screen didn't even make it into the case before it was unfortunately scarred. I am seriously thinking of going to Otterbox with this and hoping they may assist by giving me a second go around with a screen cover to see if we can it on properly without the F'n adhesive goo.
I love Otterbox and recommend them still. However, this saddens me I can't even get the phone installed without my case ruining my case. - Not even close to as good as the 3g model!

I purchased mine directly from Otterbox the day it was released. I think the current price on Amazon is closer to what I think it is worth. I certainly paid the early adopter price.
Here are the Pros and Cons.
Pros:
1. Good protection. (As far as I can tell)
2. Thinner and lighter then the Defender.
3. Slides in out of the pocket pretty easy.
Cons:
1. The plastic shell's edges are sharp and extend beyond the rubber skin. It also extends unevenly near the ear and is a bit irritating when on the phone.
2. The plastic screen protector is garbage.
3. The port plugs are difficult to open and close. The bottom port cover is the worst of the two! It is very hard to open!! I think it should have had more of a raised edge rather than flat and flush with the case.
4. The plastic shell feels cheap.
Other thoughts:
It would have been nice if they had extended the rubber on the four corners over the plastic casing. As it is now, the plastic shell is what touches the surface when setting it down. I think it needs a little traction so that it doesn't slide off of smooth surfaces. - really dig this case...for so many reasons!

overall i feel the advantages of this case outweigh any disadvantages. please see suggestions for potential cures for some of people's concerns about this case
pros/
lightweight but substantial feeling
soft silicone cushion for the phone
some additional protection with hardshell back and some edges
includes screen protector
easy access to ports
phone fits in pocket, not too bulky
stylish
cons/
curious if hardshell around the corners might offer better protection than existing design
apple logo could be protected with a lightweight plastic window for additional protection
opening too large on ring/silent switch (wider than phone)
difficult to open bottom port silicone flap
only comes in black
suggestions/
buyers should consider leaving the original apple back film protector on phone, trim bottom flap. or put a screen protector on back. that way you have protection for logo.
practice placing screen protector on phone before peeling bottom layer, that way you know how to line it up when you are doing the real thing.
consider going to a less busy apple store and asking the store to install your case on your iPhone4. that way it may be installed with less hassle for you. - I've tried several and this is my favorite so far

Hi, I just got this case yesterday. It's the third one I've tried with my iPhone 4. Otterbox makes fine cases so I expected something nice and was not disappointed. I also had the Commuter and Defender cases for my iPhone 3Gs. Here are some notes for you:
- The case provides the best protection of the three I've tried. The Apple bumper case is nice but the open back leaves a lot of glass exposed.
- Compared to the iPhone 3Gs Commuter case this one exposes more of the hard plastic surface and less of the rubber. The plastic is textured nicely so gripping is still secure.
- The phone will connect (Yeah!) to my Magellan car mount with this case on. It would not connect with the thicker Apple bumper case. I'm also able to get other cables to connect to it that would not connect with the bumper case. The opening for the thirty pin connector is larger on the Otterbox case.
- Putting the screen protector on can be frustrating but I was mostly successful this time. Dust must be avoided at all cost while applying it. Hey Intel, can I use your clean room for a few minutes?
So it's a nice well built case that offers good protection for your baby without excessive bulk.
Update (9/2/2010): The reviewer that said the case can be uncomfortable on your ear while making calls was right. If you make a lot of calls this could be very annoying. I'll post a picture or two of the offending sharp edge.
Regards,
John

- It is worth it!!!!!!

I was very skeptical about the price of the product, but it works way better than I expected! I just got it today (4 days after I ordered it, it ships from Nevada so if you live on the west coast you will get it delivered FAST with just ground shipping)
I got this for my iTouch 1st gen. and the FM transmitter sound quality is perfect. I virtually had no static. From what I can tell from the short time I have had it, the car charger does what it is suppose to do. The remote isn't really anything to brag about but hey, it works and is kind of a cool addition to the transmitter.
I HIGHLY recommend this product to any iPod user. The price cannot be beat!!! Do not waste your money on a $100 transmitter!! $14.80 is all you need to enjoy your iPod in the car! - DOES NOT CHARGE IPOD TOUCH

This is a very cheap device...not only in cost but it comes in three pieces which fall apart in the car. And if you cant find one then you're SOL until you do. Also I had it for about 2 weeks when it started acting up, saying it cannot charge my ipod touch. It still would at first then the error messages got more often. Now its useless. It wont charge at all. As soon as I plug it in it gives the error message and wont charge. DONT BUY this product. - Ehhh ...

For some reason the product did no stay connected into my ipod touch! If someone sits and hold it in its a great product! Unfortunately that's not very convenient. It would jump from speaker to speaker get lots of static and what'll ya know! It was out again ... Not worth the money ... Long sad trip from WA to CA w out my jamz :( - Worthless

I would strongly argue that this was in fact not worth more than half of the already small price I paid for it. Reception is complete trash regardless of how many different stations I try. Fuzz radiates in and out with the movement of my car, so unless you are planning to sit stationary then this is worthless. My feeling is probably that this is good if you live in some isolated region of the states without other radio stations. In Boston, at least, this thing is worthless. At least for a 40 mile radius, I might add.
Should have spent the money to get something better, though I haven't tried any of the more expensive ones yet. - You get what you pay for

Don't waste your money! I should have known better when the price was so cheap compared to the ones you buy at the store. Static is a major issue, no matter what you do the static won't go away and you have to have the volume up really loud in order to hear the music and it still sounds muffled. You have to hold it right next to the radio for the best sound which still isn't great. When driving there are times when it will cut out and play the music from the radio and it will scare you because it'll be so loud. Spend the extra money and get a nice one.

Customer Reviews:
- doesnt work

The sensor doesnt seem to work, i have several times and it will not connect to my iphone. I will be very upset if I have to buy a new battery because this sensor was supposed to be new. - A good run tracker, but could use a few more features

I bought the Nike+ sport kit when I wanted to start running with my iPod nano instead of my iPhone. I had been using RunKeeper to track my walks with my iPhone, so I didn't want to give up the ability to analyze my runs.
The good:
- Periodic updates as to how far I have left and being able to get my stats (current pace, time elapsed, distance left to go)
- The variety of workouts I can set up (choose basic, distance, time, etc.)
- Power Song: This sounds silly, but being able to hold down the center button at any point and immediately hearing what I've chosen as my "power song" at the time I need it can be very motivating
The bad:
- The Nike+ website. It is awful. No, really, it sucks really bad. It's great to be able to upload my run and see how I've done, but there's a graph on there that nobody seems to be able to explain. Coming from RunKeeper, I thought the up and down orange line meant my elevation, but apparently it's tracking my speed. Except some people think it's not, that it just makes an arbitrary up-and-down graph no matter how fast I was going.
You're supposed to be able to choose the number of data points the graph shows, so I thought that meant I'd be able to see how fast I was running at any interval. Apparently not. Who knows what that's designed for, then, since there is no explanation on the website.
The website tells you that you can select Coaching or Training programs, except you can't. That part of the site, according to a Nike+ staff admin, has been down and they don't know when it will be back up. And when it does come back up, all you can do is print out a sheet telling you how to work to your goal. That's right, even though the programs are on the Nike+ site that interfaces with the Nike+ sensor, you can't load it onto your iPod and get any kind of audio support. You just PRINT OUT A SCHEDULE and try to remember what it said on your run.
There's also an option to "Map It," i.e. map your route that you want to run. Except... You guessed it! There aren't any audio cues or any kind of interaction between that and the actual Nike+ sensor. So basically you just draw a map of where you ran, or where you want to run, and you can manually link those routes to your uploaded runs... Except there's really no point since there's no way for the sensor to know if you actually ran that route or not.
Also, I had read that the voice of the trainer you hear while running is also supposed to say stuff like "Good job!" or "You need to run faster to make your goal!" or stuff like that, but so far all she tells me is how far I've gone. But maybe you need to run a marathon to get the voice cues.
Bottom line: Only get this product if you just want to track your time on your runs. Otherwise, like me, you'll be disappointed. - excellent product

i love this chip. i connected it right away to my ipod and now i can easily record all my runs by just plugging my ipod into my computer. - fun and motivating

although the calibration seems to be off (and there's no clear way to override the automatic calibration - maybe i need to check the manual again?) at least it is consistent, and the whole darn thing is incredibly fun and easy to use. it's very motivating to be able to track progress online, and to have an easy way to figure out pace, approximate distance, etc. overall, highly recommended. ps - you don't need the nike shoes, just get one of the many pouches available to attach to your laces. - Works for me!!!

Overall, this product rocks! It is easy to set up and use, the feedback during my runs keeps me focused and I enjoy charting my progress online. The only downside is the mileage but its only off by 0.01 per mile. I'd recommend this product to anyone, both beginners and advanced.

- Overrated

Bought this case based on its good reviews...I work at the airport on the ramp, so I need a durable phone case. Back part of the case was great, but bulky. Within one week, the corner broke on the front panel, making the case worthless. - the ONLY case for the accident prone.

If you really want to protect your Droid this is the case to get. Yes, it adds some bulk to the phone, but it offers absolutely unmatched protection. I am the kind of person who drops her phone at least 3-4 times a week, and thanks to otterbox, I know when I pick it up everything will be a-ok. Additionally, they stand behind their product, if you have any problems, you can phone them directly and they are super friendly and helpful.
This is not the cutest case, but one that will truly protect your phone and keep it working (and looking great), if you are interested in protection, go otterbox. - not the best

i got the case hoping to keep my phone from getting scratches and and the actual phone from cracking. so when i first got the case i noticed it came with a screen protector which i did like. after putting the case on the phone it became very bulky and box like. well the next day i had gotten used to the case and i put my phone in my pocket to get in a car and after the short maybe 7 minute card ride the front piece covering the front of my phone had snapped which basically left my phone open to become easily damaged.i tried taping it but that didnt work and i was very dissapointed int he fact that i paid 20 dollars for a case that broke after one day of using - Good buy!

Great case for cheap price! Bought a really crappy case before this and I'm really happy with this one. The Moto Droid is just akwardly shaped and hard to find a case that fits just right. But this one fits perfectly! - great fitting, highly protective

The case fits really well and I was impressed by the level of protection it added, especially to the back side of the phone. The thin rubber layer inside the back half of the case is sweet and I love how it has built in rubber plugs for every port and covers for all the side buttons. The screen protector film was easy to apply without bubbles and has held up well for a month.
The downsides? It adds more bulk than other cases and I just broke the clip-on piece that protects the edges of the front of the phone when the phone was in my back pocket. Time to see how the warranty is handled! Overall I highly recommend this case, just don't sit on it.

- awesome i love it

really easy just plug and play works with win xp and vista idk about win7
pares with my phone just fine - Ubuntu & XP worked

Tried using this with a Voyager 510, but that headset doesn't work well with anything if you don't have the USB device. All other bluetooth devices worked though. - Good response from customer service

Received the original package, installation driver CD was damaged upon arrival. File a complaint, their customer service agent, Michelle responded with an email and a followup phone call, a few days later. She was apologetic and promise to send me a replacement CD and I got a new driver CD the next day. Install the driver, works well with my new blue tooth mouse. I am happy. :-) - Bluetooth for toothless PC

Finally it worked! Do not install software on Vista. Worked right away after uninstalling packaged software and just used PnP. Everything fired right up. - Can't get to work.

Seems to find only a few devices that I have and then will not pair with them. No instructions came with it. Any replys on how to get working would be great.

- BlackBerry Curve 8520 Car Charger

It's difficult to rate this product at this time because I haven't been able to use it. I'm not sure if it's a defective product or that I have a mechanical issue with my charger adapter in my car. - You get what you pay for.....

I only paid $3 so I should not complain but I do have a few comments. Happy with the car charger. The silicone case itself is very thin/flimsy and would not protect if dropped. The screen protector ripped as I was applying it. - Hat trick

Didn't think this deal was legit and had to be too good to be true. Wrong.
Everything worked with no defects. Absolutely proud of the purchase.
I do want to note that the case didn't look super special but for the price, I couldn't ask for anything more. - good product

I was unsure about this when i 1st decided to buy it because of other reviews about the case being baggy but i got mine and it fits my phone perfect. Maybe this just fits a 8530 better. which is what i have. The charger works and hasn't broken so im happy about that and for the price you cant beat it - Good for the price

I went ahead and purchased this product after pricing them out at different stores. The silicone case goes for $10 anyway, and the the charger goes for at least that much, so spending $4.14 total on this item is a good deal. Mind you, none of the 3 are of top quality, but each will do their job.
The charger is mainly what I wanted. It feels cheap, but works. The question will be how long it lasts, so the review may change. Since it works, $4.14 is worth the charger alone. I was a little suprised by the case. It's actually quite nice. It's a snug fit, but is a little bulky along the bottom row of keys. The bottom of the case (below the keyboard) is open, meaning the case is not as tight as it could be. I'm not sure why it's open. This case is mainly for those that cary thier phone in their pocket and not in a belt-case. Since they sell for $10 at stores, this is worth the $4.14 as well. As for the guard, don't bother. It can be put on without bubbles showing, but it isn't easy. Use the money you saved and buy a set of good guards that work. Just throw away the guard when you open your package.

- A little more battery life

This battery gives you about 2 extra hours compared to the factory battery. You need to install a android task manager and this will help your battery life even more. - Works well for me.

The Seidio Innocell 1750 does what I had hoped for : Gives me more hrs on a charge. I am now able to make it through the day (6:00 AM to 10:00 PM) with a single charge, and battery is still at 10% to 15% at 10:00 PM. The stock battery was at 10% or less most days by 5:00 PM. I think it works so well for me because I only charge it when it's below 20%. I doubt doing this will work for everyone, as different jobs create odd schedules, varying usage,etc.., and sometimes you need just a bit more "to get this job done", and out comes the charger. Those batteries do get "spoiled" if you charge them when they're still above 30%, from my experience, and will no longer take a "full" charge if doing so gets into a habit.
Two thumbs up for this purchase! - HTC EVO Battery Replacement

Better than the OEM 1450Mah that comes with the phone, but still has a relatively short life in use. Better if you turn off phone capabilities when not in use--Bluetooth, GPS, 4G, 3G, WiFi,
Hot Spot. - Not much better than stock, if better at all

When the Incredible first came out, the biggest complaint was the battery life. Okay, so I looked into extended batteries and was excited when I found this one. It had mixed reviews from the start but I figured I'd go for it anyway. Needless to say, it did not last much longer than the stock battery. In fact, I'm not entirely sure it lasted longer at all.
One night, after charging it to full capacity, I decided to leave it unplugged through the night. No sense charging a full battery all night. The phone had been doing nothing (only features turned on were WiFi and 3G) all night. I wake up after 8-9 hours, and the battery was depleted to less than 25%. By the time I got to work an hour later, it was yelling at me with a red battery indicator that it was at less than 15%.
Really? I paid for an extended battery, as in extended battery life. I'm not sure what your definition of "extended" was, but it certainly wasn't what I was thinking. I can't use half the features unless I am ready to charge it shortly after.
Luckily my old phone (EnV3) had the same charger for the Incredible, so when I got my new phone I had 3 chargers. That came in use when you have to charge the phone on the go constantly. I have a charger for home, car, and work.
I may look into the bulkier 3500 mAh battery, but that too is made by Seidio and so far I am not too pleased with what they have given me. - Good

After a few weeks, this seems to have some more power than the original battery. Not bad for the price, and still fits into the original case. I will point out that it is not a MASSIVE increase in usage, but it was significant. Since I am not willing to increase the size of my phone, this is the largest battery available as far as I know. That 3500 sitting just barely above this price point is awful hard to avoid though - I just can't deal with the aesthetics of it.
Anyway, I thought this battery took some time to condition. Now that I am rooted (thanks XDA Developers!) and have been reading up on it, I believe it is the PHONE that needed to be conditioned. The battery itself isn't going to change in its capabilities, but the phone can learn how to charge it better.
I recommend "bump" charging. After the phone reports 100% charge, turn it off and unplug it. Then plug it back in - still turned off. The LED will show orange for a significant amount of time after this - and the battery will take more charge. This battery often takes 30-45 min of "extra" charge in my phone while turned off. You can repeat this process (unplug it and re-plug it) without turning the phone back on (it doesn't work with the phone on). Using this technique, I got the phone to stay above 90% for the first couple hours of usage with light usage. I believe you can get a good 20% more out of it by bump charging. The first bump is most significant - subsequent bumps will usually turn the LED back to green in less than 20 minutes. I have generally stuck with 2 bumps. When I do, I notice a significant difference in the life of the battery. Hope that tip helps others.
Today, I am ordering a stand/second battery charger so I can always have a charged battery on hand. Also, my understanding is that the chargers simply charge to full and do not have the same software logic about when a battery is expected to be full, so hopefully this will work for me to keep both batteries fully charged and easily swappable.
I also plan to try to re-train the phone. It was originally trained on the 1300, so I think the significant bump-charging is due to the phone thinking it should stop charging the battery too soon. When rooted, you can reset the battery memory file and re-train the phone. Going to give that a shot and see if it helps.

- Very disappointed

I have bought several Speck products (including satin macbook pro covers, laptop bags, and even the ipad candy shell) with high satisfaction. This product so disappointed me that I will now think triple hard before I buy another speck product again.
As others have stated, the application is extremely difficult. On my first attempt, the skin got dirty and had to be trashed. The second was a better application, but there are still bubbles left that look like dirty spots on the screen when you have a bright white color on the screen. Very unacceptable. I wish I could get my money back. - Great anti-glare film

I'm not sure why there are so many complaints about this being difficult to install. I had a few bubbles left around the border but my cover hides these. As for its anti-glare qualities it's perfect! It's nearly equivalent to the anti-glare screen on my MacBook Pro, which is factory, not film. Absolutely a must for watching movies. Great product! - Couldn't get the bubbles out

I have many i-Devices and have tried several screen protectors. Usually the problem is with dust and bubbles. I have successfully applied many others protectors bubble free, but this particular product is very sensitive to dust! I took it to my school's class 10,000 clean room and still could not get the sucker on cleanly! Not to mention they only provide two protectors, while most others offer you three for the same price. I will be trying another Matte screen protector soon. - GREAT SCREEN PROTECTORS!!

With all of the negative reviews of this product, I was a little nervous about what I just had purchased. I heard about bent packaging, and bubbles under the screen. I have installed about 3 previous screen protectors on my iPad, so I had a little idea of what I was doing. Honestly, if you simply watch the video installation of this product on speck's website, it makes it a lot easier...especially if you've never done it before. I did end up with ONE bubble (on the outside of the display). I don't understand why the reviews are so negative. This is certainly better quality than any cheap old screen protector for the iPad. Some compressed air really does help keep dust off of the screen during installation...just a tip.
I will definitely buy a pack of these again...after my other screen protector needs replacing. Buy it! You won't regret it. - Impossible to apply

I've applied screen protectors on plenty of phones, but the ipad screen is just too large to apply something like this to. Additionally, the microfiber cloth included with it to clean the screen left pieces behind... So I had to use a different cloth to clean the screen. Way too many bubbles, as well as the underside of the screen protector attracting tons of gunk before it could even get stuck to the screen. In the end, a waste of my time and money.

- Came in original Motorola box

Amazon standard box with packing bubbles around the product. It came in the original Motorola box with all the contents in original plastic packaging bags on the inside. Looks like I bought it right from a Verizon store. Very nice. - Droid Window Mount

The window mount was just what I was looking for. A good price and it came with an extra car charger. It really makes the Droid a hands free device as well as comes in handy for the GPS to operate continuously on trips. Worth every penny.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002Y3BYQA/ref=cm_cr_rev_prod_title - Great but won't fit.

Liked the holder, but we didn't really mount it because we discovered it would not fit in the mount with a case on the phone--you would have to remove case each time you wanted to use. Most people have cases for protection, so why not design the thing with that in mind. Material looked like good quality plastic and would have worked nicely for a car mount. - A must have!

If you don't have this mount you are missing out on some great features of the Droid. I drive a lot and the GPS on the phone has replaced my Garmin. You can find all the small or out of the way places with this phone that you would never see come up on the Garmin. And with the auxiliary cable connected to the radio you can have you calls run through your speakers and talk hands free without outing it on speaker phone. And if you are listening to music on the phone and using the GPS at the same time, the music will cut out when the GPS speaks you can hear your directions. - Moto Driod Car Windshield Mount

Absolutely an excellent product and functionality is fantastic. I would highly recommend this to anybody who is on the go and or lives in big cities. Don't have to fumble with the phone. Navigation system can be viewed and operated easily. Excellent product by MOTOROLA.
